Proposed Revision of Annual Information Return/Reports for Employee Benefit Plans Under ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code

The Department of Labor, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation propose changes to the Form 5500 Annual Return/Report forms to modernize financial information, update fee and expense information, and enhance data mineability, with the goal of improving employee benefit plan reporting for filers, the public, and the Agencies.
