U.S. Department of Labor Announces New Minimum Wage Rate for Contractors, Effective January 1, 2017

The U.S. Department of Labor is issuing a notice to announce the new minimum wage rate of $10.10 per hour for workers performing work on or in connection with Federal contracts covered by Executive Order 13658, which was signed by President Barack Obama on February 12, 2014. The new rate will take effect on January 1, 2017, and will be adjusted annually thereafter.
