NMFS Announces Peer Review Report and Public Comment Period for Ringed Seal Subspecies

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has released a peer review report on the proposed threatened status for the ringed seal subspecies, following a special independent review of the 2010 status review report under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). The public can comment on the report for 30 days, with previously submitted comments already considered in the record.
