NMFS Seeks Authorization to Take Marine Mammals for Sturgeon Research in Gulf of Mexico
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is requesting permission to capture small numbers of marine mammals while conducting sturgeon research in the Gulf of Mexico over the next 5 years, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA).
