US Department of Commerce Proposes Revisions to Export Administration Regulations (EAR) for Military Training Equipment and Related Items
The US Department of Commerce has proposed a rule to update the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) for articles that no longer warrant control under the US Munitions List (USML), specifically military training equipment and related items, as determined by the President. This proposed rule is part of Commerce's retrospective plan to analyze and update existing regulations, as outlined in the 2011 Export Control Reform Initiative.
