NIST to Grant Exclusive Patent License for Ion Source Technology

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is considering granting an exclusive patent license to LoTIS Technologies LLC for its interest in two inventions related to ion source technology, including a magneto-optical trap ion source and a charged particle source from a photoionized cold atom beam.
