US FCC Staff Grants Rulemaking Petitions for Texas Radio Stations

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) staff has approved a rulemaking petition filed by Katherine Pyeatt to allocate Channel 283A to Markham, Texas, as a second local service. Additionally, the FCC staff has granted a counterproposal by Fort Bend Broadcasting Company, licensee of Station KHTZ(FM), to upgrade the station from Channel 284C2 to Channel 235C.
