EPA Announces Attainment of PM10 Standard in Mendenhall Valley, Alaska

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has confirmed that the Mendenhall Valley nonattainment area in Alaska met the National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) for particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of less than or equal to a nominal ten micrometers (PM 10 ) as of December 31, 1995.
