EPA Proposes Settlement Agreements to Address Greenhouse Gas Rule Challenges

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed six settlement agreements with industry groups to resolve lawsuits over its mandatory reporting of greenhouse gases rule, which was finalized in 2009. The proposed agreements would allow the groups to drop their challenges if the EPA revises the rule with public input.
