EPA Proposes One-Year Extension for Attaining 1997 8-Hour Ozone Standard in Baltimore

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to extend the deadline for the Baltimore area to meet the 1997 8-hour ozone national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS) from June 15, 2010 to June 15, 2011, based on air quality data from the 2009 ozone season.
