EPA Deletes SMS Instruments, Inc. Superfund Site from National Priorities List

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced the deletion of the SMS Instruments, Inc. Superfund Site in Deer Park, New York, from the National Priorities List (NPL), following completion of all response actions under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) of 1980. This decision was made with the concurrence of the State of New York, and does not preclude future Superfund actions.
