EPA Receives Request for Emergency Exemption for Spirotetramat on Dry Bulb Onions in Minnesota

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has received a request from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture to use the pesticide spirotetramat to control thrips on up to 275 acres of dry bulb onions in Minnesota. The request is part of a process to address the cancellation of the chemical's registration.
