EPA Announces External Peer Review Workshop for Hexachloroethane Toxicological Review
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is hosting an external peer review workshop to review a draft toxicological review of hexachloroethane, a chemical used in various industrial applications, as part of the Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS). The workshop, organized by Versar, Inc., a contractor for EPA, will provide an opportunity for experts to review and comment on the draft assessment, which was prepared by the National Center for Environmental Assessment (NCEA) within the EPA Office of Research and Development.
