EPA Finds New York Motor Vehicle Emissions Budgets Adequate for Transportation Conformity

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has determined that the motor vehicle emissions budgets for volatile organic compound (VOC) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) in New York are sufficient for transportation conformity purposes, requiring the New York Metropolitan Transportation Council to use the 2008 8-hour ozone budgets for future determinations.
