EPA Proposes Amendments to Oil Pollution Prevention Rule, Extending Compliance Date

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to extend the compliance date for facilities to prepare and implement Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, allowing more time for affected companies to understand revised rules finalized in 2008 and 2009, following recent delays and uncertainties in the review process.
