EPA Proposes Administrative Order on Consent for Standard Mine Site Cleanup in Colorado

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a settlement with Elijah Valencia regarding the cleanup of the Standard Mine Site in Gunnison County, Colorado, under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). The proposed agreement would require Valencia to pay for past and future response costs and execute an environmental covenant, with the EPA considering comments for thirty days.
