EPA Disapproves Texas Submissions for Ozone and NSR Regulations

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized actions to disapprove several submissions from the State of Texas, including revisions to the New Source Review (NSR) State Implementation Plan (SIP) and a Standard Permit for Pollution Control Projects (PCP), due to non-compliance with federal regulations, including the Clean Air Act (CAA) and the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for ozone.
