EPA Issues Significant New Use Rules for Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes and Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is requiring manufacturers, importers, and processors of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) and single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) to notify the agency at least 90 days prior to using these substances for a significant new use, in order to assess potential risks to human health and the environment.
