EPA Proposes Exemption for Eastman Chemical's Hazardous Waste in Texas

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to exempt certain hazardous waste generated by Eastman Chemical Company-Texas Operations' Longview, Texas facility from the list of hazardous wastes, following a petition submitted by the company. The EPA used its Delisting Risk Assessment Software to assess the potential risks to human health and the environment.
