NOAA Delays Effective Date of Shipwreck Protection Provision in Lake Ontario National Marine Sanctuary

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has delayed the effective date of a provision that prohibits grappling into or anchoring on shipwreck sites in the Lake Ontario National Marine Sanctuary until September 21, 2028, following a stay that was initially set to expire on July 21, 2026.
