EPA Approves Tennessee's 1997 Ozone Maintenance Plan for Nashville Area
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a revised Tennessee State Implementation Plan (SIP) to ensure the Nashville area meets the 1997 8-hour ozone national ambient air quality standards through 2018, as required by the Clean Air Act.
