EPA Proposes Final Authorization for New Mexico's Hazardous Waste Program Revisions

The State of New Mexico has submitted a request to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for final authorization of changes to its hazardous waste management program under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). The EPA is proposing to grant final authorization to the state, effective immediately, unless written comments opposing the action are received during the comment period.
