EPA Partially Grants Growth Energy's Waiver Request to Increase Ethanol Content in Gasoline to 15 Percent

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has partially approved Growth Energy's waiver request to allow the introduction of gasoline with up to 15 percent ethanol content (E15) in certain vehicles, including model year 2007 and newer light-duty motor vehicles, while denying it for older vehicles and heavy-duty engines.
