EPA Proposes Approval of Tennessee's Revised Greenhouse Gas Tailoring Rule
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a revised State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted by Tennessee, which establishes emission thresholds for determining which new stationary sources and modification projects are subject to the state's permitting requirements for greenhouse gas emissions, in order to prevent the application of PSD requirements at the 100 or 250 tons per year levels under the Clean Air Act.
