EPA Proposes Approval of Alabama's Revised Greenhouse Gas Tailoring Rule

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a revised State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted by Alabama, which establishes emission thresholds for determining which new stationary sources and modification projects are subject to permitting requirements for greenhouse gas emissions, in order to prevent an overwhelming burden on the state's permitting resources.
