EPA Finds New York Motor Vehicle Emission Budgets Adequate for Transportation Conformity

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has determined that the motor vehicle emission budgets for PM 2.5 and NO X in New York's state implementation plans are sufficient for transportation conformity purposes, requiring the New York Metropolitan Transportation Council and Orange County Transportation Council to use the new 2009 budgets in future determinations.
