EPA Partially Approves Colorado's Plan to Reduce Ozone Pollution
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has partially approved the State of Colorado's plan to reduce ozone pollution, addressing a requirement that prevents one state's emissions from interfering with another state's ability to meet federal air quality standards. The approval is part of the EPA's efforts to implement the 1997 8-hour ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS).
