EPA Proposes Consent Decree to Address Lawsuit Over Kentucky State Implementation Plan Submittals

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a consent decree to settle a lawsuit filed by environmental groups Sierra Club and Kentucky Environmental Foundation, who claim the agency failed to take action on certain State Implementation Plan submittals by the State of Kentucky. The proposed agreement sets deadlines for the EPA to take action.
