EPA Seeks Public Comment on Petition to Ban Triclosan

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made available a petition submitted by Beyond Pesticides and Food & Water Watch, asking the agency to regulate triclosan, an antimicrobial substance used in various consumer products, due to concerns over its impact on human health and the environment.
