EPA Proposes Approval of Air Quality Implementation Plans for Wisconsin Areas
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to officially confirm that the Milwaukee-Racine and Sheboygan areas in Wisconsin have met the 1997 8-hour ozone air quality standard. The areas, which include several counties, have consistently shown that they meet the standard during recent monitoring periods, and if approved, would be exempt from submitting certain plans and revisions related to air quality.
