EPA to Remove Saccharin and Its Salts from Hazardous Waste Lists

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is amending its regulations to remove saccharin and its salts from lists of hazardous constituents, hazardous wastes, and hazardous substances, in response to a petition from the Calorie Control Council (CCC) and based on evaluations of saccharin's potential toxicological effects.
