EPA Proposes Consent Decree to Settle Lawsuit Over Air Quality Plans
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a consent decree to settle a lawsuit filed by the Natural Resources Defense Council, Inc. and the Coalition for a Safe Environment, alleging that the EPA failed to take final action on two air quality plans submitted by the South Coast Air Quality Management District. The proposed decree sets a deadline for the EPA to take action.
