Coast Guard Proposes Temporary Regulation for Long Beach Regatta Powerboat Race

The U.S. Coast Guard is proposing a temporary regulation to ensure the safety of participants and spectators at the Long Beach Regatta Powerboat Race in Long Beach, NY, scheduled for August 24-25, 2013. The regulation would prohibit entry into the Atlantic Ocean waters during the event unless authorized by the Captain of the Port for Sector Long Island Sound.
