Coast Guard Issues Final Rule to Implement STCW Convention and STCW Code

The US Coast Guard has issued a final rule to implement the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978, and the Seafarers' Training, Certification and Watchkeeping Code, in response to public comments and to incorporate 2010 amendments that took effect in 2012.
