ATF Amends Reporting Requirements for Stolen or Lost Firearms in Transit

The Department of Justice is updating the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives' regulations to require Federal firearms licensees to report stolen or lost firearms in transit within 48 hours, and to reflect the firearm's new status in their records within 7 days.
