DOJ Proposes Amendments to ATF Regulations for Secure Gun Storage and Antique Firearms

The Department of Justice is proposing changes to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) regulations to require secure gun storage or safety devices at licensed firearms dealers and to clarify the definition of antique firearms, as mandated by the 1999 Omnibus Consolidated and Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act.
