Justice for United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Act Establishes Compensation Fund for Terrorism Victims

The USVSST Act, part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2016, creates a fund to provide compensation to US victims of state-sponsored terrorism, including those injured in international terrorism and hostages held at the US Embassy in Tehran from 1979 to 1981.
