CMS Renews NCQA Deeming Authority for Medicare Advantage Organizations

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is renewing the Medicare Advantage Deeming Authority of the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for Health Maintenance Organizations and Preferred Provider Organizations for a period of four years. The new term of approval began on October 19, 2010, and will expire on October 18, 2014.
