Draft Action Plan-A Public Health Action Plan To Combat Antimicrobial Resistance

On March 16, 2011, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), located within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) published a notice in the Federal Register requesting public comment on the draft, A Public Health Action Plan to Combat Antimicrobial Resistance (76 FR 14402). Written and electronic comments were to be received on or before April 15, 2011. CDC/HHS received requests asking for a 60-day extension of the comment period. In consideration of those requests, HHS/CDC is extending the comment period by 60 days to June 14, 2011.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as part of its continuing effort to reduce public burden and maximize the utility of government information, invites the general public and other federal agencies the opportunity to comment on a proposed information collection, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This notice invites comment on a proposed information collection project titled Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Cooperative Agreement. The Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Cooperative Agreement provides rapid funding to help existing public health programs respond to major public health emergencies and crises.
