FDA Releases Draft Guidance for In Vitro Diagnostic Devices Detecting Bacillus Species

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a draft guidance document outlining the requirements for in vitro diagnostic devices to detect Bacillus species, which will be subject to special controls under a proposed rule also published by the FDA. The draft guidance is not yet final or effective.
