Consumer Leasing Regulation M Amendments Finalized

The Federal Reserve Board and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau are finalizing changes to the regulations implementing the Consumer Leasing Act, with the exemption threshold for consumer leases remaining at $58,300 through January 1, 2021, due to the lack of annual percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W) as of June 1, 2020.
