Commodity Futures Trading Commission Publishes Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on Privacy Act Regulations

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission published a notice of proposed rulemaking on May 6, 2026, to amend its Privacy Act regulations and exempt the CFTC from certain provisions, in response to a request from a committee to review and update its privacy policies.
