BLM Proposes Fees for John Day River Trips
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is proposing to start charging fees for day and overnight trips on a 47-mile stretch of the John Day River in Oregon, from Service Creek to the confluence with the Columbia River. This plan aligns with the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (FLREA) and builds on the river's designation as a National Wild and Scenic River in 1988.
