Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission Completes Inventory of Human Remains, Opens Transfer Process

The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission has completed an inventory of human remains in consultation with Native American tribes and Native Hawaiian organizations, determining a cultural affiliation with present-day tribes and organizations. Lineal descendants or representatives of unlisted tribes can submit a written request to transfer control of the remains.
