U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Extends Public Comment Period for Gray Wolf Proposal

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has extended the public comment period for a proposal to remove the gray wolf from the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife, while maintaining endangered status for the Mexican wolf, until October 28, 2013. The agency also announced three public hearings on the proposed rule.
