U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Announces Intent to Prepare Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Chokecherry-Sierra Madre Wind Energy Project

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is preparing a draft Environmental Impact Statement for Phase I of the Chokecherry-Sierra Madre Wind Energy Project, which will assess the environmental impacts of issuing a permit to take eagles for the project, in compliance with the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act and its implementing regulations.
