U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Receives Application for Lesser Prairie-Chicken Conservation Permit

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has received an application for an enhancement of survival permit for the lesser prairie-chicken, a species in need of conservation, and is preparing a draft environmental assessment to analyze the potential impacts of the permit and a proposed conservation agreement with the oil and gas industry.
