FAA Modifies Waiver Process for Air Traffic Control Specialists
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has amended its regulation to simplify the process for requesting a waiver of the mandatory separation age of 56 for Air Traffic Control Specialists. The change removes the requirement for specialists to certify they have not been involved in certain operational errors or incidents in the past 5 years.
