SEC Proposes Expanded Authority for Issuing Exempt Commercial Market Special Calls
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has proposed regulations that expand the authority of certain individuals to issue exempt commercial market (ECM) special calls, clarify the process for listing and implementing registered entity products, and amend the definition of emergency to include non-board members. The proposed rules also outline new requirements for submitting self-certified contracts and rules to the Commission.
