NHTSA Revises Uniform Criteria for State Seat Belt Use Surveys
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is revising the Uniform Criteria for State Observational Surveys of Seat Belt Use to improve the accuracy of seat belt use data, following substantial experience and technological advancements in survey design and implementation since 1998.
